Balance Home Services will not disclose or release your information to any other providers, organisations, or individuals without express consent from yourself or your representative (with the exception of lawful requirements from government, administrative bodies, authorities, or court legal proceedings). Information may be shared with other providers of services to you, including your support coordinator, plan manager, support workers, medical or allied health professionals or the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and approved auditors who may also wish to speak with you about your satisfaction with the NDIS services you are receiving from us. Consent may be rescinded at any point.
Phone Call Records and Tracking
Balance Home Services maintains a recording of all phone calls made to our office line for quality and auditing purposes. Our phone system utilises a digital address book, which contains the names and numbers of existing field staff and clients, to facilitate dialling for outgoing calls, and call forwarding and identification office side for incoming calls. This address book is only accessible by our office staff via their password protected personal computers.
Information Storage and Disposal
Client information is stored on secured servers and backed up regularly, the access of which is solely accessible by authorised personnel.
Information kept by Balance Home Services about you is accessible on request. Balance Home Services will require proof of identity to release information to any person, including the person the information pertains to.
All records are maintained and kept on our systems for the required legal period as indicated within our Document Retention Schedule. Records surpassing their retention date will be disposed of digitally, or physically destroyed via secure destruction services, where applicable.
